Resigned from PDK/ Krasniqi: Extraordinary convention on Monday, new chairman elected

Memli Krasniqi has given a statement to the media after resigning from the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Krasniqi stated that PDK is not simply a party, but a legacy of those who fought for Kosovo.

Further, Krasniqi announced that he will continue to be part of the PDK and called on every member to join.

" With love for PDK and Kosovo. PDK is in the trust of those who fought for Kosovo, because the trust is kept alive when it is led with the heart. I hand over with love what I have defended responsibly. I remain in PDK, because this party is bigger than each of us. I invite every member to join so that we can be one like never before.

"Today, in accordance with the party's statute, I have called an extraordinary convention to be held on Monday where the new chairman will be elected. Thank you to the citizens, every voter, every colleague ," Krasniqi declared.
