Barcelona named world's best city for nightlife in 2025

A study by entertainment platform JB has ranked the best global cities for nightlife, analyzing safety, density of bars, drink prices and after-dark activities. According to the report, about 60% of travelers choose a destination based on nightlife.

Barcelona tops the list thanks to over 300 bars per 100 km², iconic clubs like Pacha, Sala Apolo and Razzmatazz, as well as a high rating of 4.48/5, with bars staying open until 6am.

Following it are Paris, Tokyo, Prague and Tbilisi, which surprises with an even higher rating than Barcelona (4.61), low prices and a strong techno scene.

Bali also stands out on the list, which, although with fewer bars per square meter, has the highest rating for party places, 4.64/5, and a lively scene in Seminyak, Canggu and Kuta.

In terms of prices, Paris is the most expensive city for drinks (average $8.15), while Budapest offers the lowest prices, only $2.99, but ranks tenth due to more limited opening hours.
