Exciting images have appeared in international opinion from the rescue operation in Syria.

A video published by Skynews shows the moment when a little girl is rescued from the rubble.

Emergency crews clean up the fallen inert by hand and she is taken out in good health.

The father can be heard telling his young daughter, Nour, "Daddy is here, don't be afraid" as the search and rescue team wades through the rocks to pull her from the depths below.

Volunteers from the Syrian Civil Defense, known as the White Helmets, are seen telling Nouri to "look at her father" as they carefully pull her out of the rubble, writes Euronews Albania.

Her dust-covered face emerges from the rubble in the opposition-held town of Jinderis, north of Aleppo.

Rescuers worked through the night in bitterly cold temperatures searching for more survivors after the 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the region on Monday morning.

More than 5,000 people have died, while many others are believed to be trapped under the rubble in Turkey and Syria. /CNA.al
