SPAK announced on Saturday the arrest of the head of the Municipality of Himara, Jorgo Goro, who was denounced by Fredi Beleri, his rival who won in the local elections a year ago, who is in jail.

Jorgo Goro will already be in prison near Beler, the first for buying votes, while the second for a corrupt affair with the granting of properties in Dhërmi.

In fact, Goro's arrest can be called a great war against corrupt officials and others, but as in the previous cases, here too we see the lack of standard.

CNA has always stood by the "Dumani" standard, fast and strong investigation that was done against the former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, his properties and assets, while there are no associates for Jorgo Goron.

In the case of Ilir Beqaj, he was not guilty and the court sent him back and then the prosecution investigated, SPAK found other facts and evidence deepening the investigation.

So, Jorgo Goro is arrested and the other officials involved continue to be free, or the other case of Ilir Beqja, who was pursued at large the whole time.

On the other hand, his colleagues are behind bars, such as the case of Lefter Koka or the incinerator of Elbasan, where the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj was finally investigated, but for the incinerator of Tirana, the persecution still continues.

Those who "cooked up" the 1 billion euro affair are on the run and free.

Therefore, the arrest of Goro and the non-arrest of other officials and suspicious actions or inactions on the part of SPAK, some of its prosecutors, have always left big questions.

These differences in investigations with raised charges, the difference in arrests and so on show us that SPAK does not have a standard. A lot is still expected from this institution and the incinerator of Tirana remains as a touchstone without any discussion, where Taulant Tusha cannot be guilty because everything is simple.

In the case of the property in Himarë, the mayor was the culprit, who has been arrested, while the directors and beneficiaries are free, while in the case of the Tirana incinerator, the mayor who gave it, who requested it and signed contract extensions worth tens of millions of euros is neither accused nor prohibited, the opposite is used.
