In September 2022, the police of Mati announced that they had arrested the citizen Dario Bruçi, 48 years old, because he had kept isolated and raped his 33-year-old cohabitant, with whom they have a 9-month-old child. The police of Mati also made public a video taken from Dario Bruçi's cell phone, where his cohabitant was seen in a ritual at home, while the sheikh from Kosovo, Kujtim Popaj, was trying to remove the spell from her.

This video was recorded a year ago on Dario's cell phone and the latter's complaint was unrelated to the video. The complaint against Dario was made by the 33-year-old's mother and he was arrested without any evidence of violence.

The 33-year-old herself tells "Stop" on TV Klan that she suffered from mental health disorders and after giving birth, her condition worsened. She says that she was not raped by her husband and she affirmed this in court and before a notary.

Journalist: I want to ask you directly: were you violated by your husband, Dario Bruçi?

Dario Bruçi's co-habitant: No, I was not raped and his words are completely true that he said. Before I met Dario, I suffered from a psychological illness, stress, I don't know how to explain it. Later, after pregnancy I got it again, despite not being able to take medicine.

Psychiatrist Artiola Hoxha explains that patients with mental health problems have a lack of hygiene, suffer from perception, everyday functionality and delusions. In case of violence, the statement of an individual with mental health problems is not necessarily taken as a basis.

Dario Bruçi's roommate: I was in a very degraded state until the house ended. Dario probably didn't realize it at the time, but that was a very, very bad situation. I wanted to be alone, I didn't want to do any work with my hands, I wasn't a mistress even for my child, with a lot of effort, a lot of chaos at home. After my mother arrived from France, Dario paid for a taxi and took me to see the Neurology hospital. On the same day that this happened, I return home and come back in a very bad state, without understanding myself and there started a small argument, with a fight like any person, like any family member and we take the bag together with mom and leave, leaving the son with Dario. Dario then comes to Tourism in Burrel and says "go back home", no, no I tell him, I'm not coming back.
