A few days ago, CNA published an informative material regarding some movements in the media market in Albania.

The name mentioned was Shkëlqim Devolli, or "Devolli Group", which has been in Tirana for several weeks and has been negotiating and taking action in an attempt to acquire DigitAlb or other companies that are directly related to the field of television rights or digital network broadcasting.

According to sources available to CNA, "Devolli" had begun negotiations to purchase shares of DigitAlb, while on the other hand, Lori Hoxha herself, the administrator of "Top Channel", had been able to secure other shares of her former partners in the DigitAlb company.

In fact, DigitAlb has been a bone of contention for years, a company steeped in debt that was initially taken into administration by Vjollca Hoxha herself, later one by one the majority shareholders appointed their own administrator to this company, plunging it deeper and deeper into debt.

After the news published by CNA, Lori Hoxha reacted, who surprisingly brought the announcement from the media of people from the structured criminal group of incinerators, where it was said that DigitAlb had already been purchased by the Hoxha family, 80% of their shares, although according to the data, the money has not yet been paid.

The contract was conditional and Lori Hoxha claimed that the company would be as successful as before, as it had been profitable last year, as always, citing an accusation that it was competitors who were spreading news about DigitAlb.

Although our news had nothing negative in it. It was simply a very professional report on the actions being taken in this company according to data that we had obtained from several official sources both within the company and outside it.

But to see the glory of DigitAlb and the successes of Lori Hoxha's victories, for 6-month profits, we published a news yesterday, which had to do with the fact that last year alone, according to the balance sheets declared by the company itself, the tax liabilities amounted to around 1 million euros.

It is not known how much these liabilities have increased or decreased since last year, but official data from tax administrations said that DigitAlb is a company with debts to this institution.

Today we are discovering another fact.

According to data, again official, confirmed by sources within the DigitAlb company, today the company's debt is around 34 million euros.

So, DigitAlb has obligations to third parties, to its suppliers, 34 million euros to pay.

This is the "success" of the DigitAlb company. This is where DigitAlb, once the pride of Albanians, has been reduced to.

Being proud that you are drowning in debt with 34 million euros to suppliers and about 1 million euros in unpaid taxes, this is "success".

Not to mention the fact that you are proud of the 24-hour thefts that DigitAlb makes on its movie channels or in the broadcasts it makes during the 24 hours for which there have been complaints from the world's largest companies, but understandably, the closeness of DigitAlb's owners to power means that institutions do not react.

Although CNA has begun to collect official data and information coming from important embassies in Tirana, which are quite concerned about the actions of the DigitAlb company, let's stick to the debts.

DigitAlb says it made a profit in the first 6 months of 2025, but no one is saying the profit and we will wait for them to declare the balance sheets to the Central Bank, where they have not yet submitted them.

Maybe they have paid the fines for the delays, but the fact today is that there are 34 million euros in debt to suppliers, to third parties, about 1 million euros in tax liabilities, data inherited only from 2024, we have about 35 million euros in debt.

This is the "success" of DigitAlb in these years.
