Fire at the "5 Maji" market/Ristani: The perimeter has been put under control, there is no danger to residents

The acting Mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, went to the "May 5" clothing market, after the fire that engulfed it this evening.

In a statement to the media, Ristani announced that the perimeter of the fire has been brought under control and there is no danger to residents.

Ristani further stated that surrounding businesses were not burned, but only warehouses where there were individual sellers were burned.

" Fortunately, there is no harm to people. The perimeter has been put under control. We were unable to save the silo. There is no danger to residents. The surrounding businesses have not been burned, only the warehouses where there are individual sellers have been burned ," said Ristani.
