Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, who is on the run, has stated, in his fourth interview with journalist Çim Peka on Syri TV, that he is ready to return to Albania when Edi Rama is no longer prime minister.

"Yes, of course. Yes, I know the truth. I told you, I have seen the SMS of the head of the organization, when someone says, you promised us that you would dissolve it, why did you make him deputy prime minister?", said Ahmetaj.

Further during the interview, the former deputy prime minister said that "drug money" is the reason for all the evil in Albania.

"Drug money has driven away the class, it has massacred the middle class in Albania. When you say there are no people, drug money is the mother of all evils in that country. From the deformation of the economy, from the social deformation, from the cultural deformation, from the political deformation, from the emigration. You know, the time has come for you to listen, it is out of fashion not to have someone on your side, a drug cartel or not to deal with drugs, to shake up the country, because this, this is the Albania of all of us?
