Crack on the "Përmet-Çarçovë" road axis /

Heavy rainfall has caused cracks on the "Përmet-Çarçovë" road axis, near the place called "Petran's Bridge."

The Gjirokastra Prefecture has announced that this axis is blocked to traffic, while authorities are on the ground to normalize the road segment.

The Prefect of Gjirokastër District appeals to avoid movement on this road axis, to exercise increased caution when driving and to strictly respect road traffic rules.

The Prefect of the Gjirokastër District informs citizens and road users that, as a result of the crack in the roadway due to heavy rainfall, the "Përmet-Çarçovë" road axis, near the place called "Ura e Petrani", is blocked to traffic.

The structures of the Gjirokastër Local Police Directorate are on the ground, in cooperation with civil emergency structures and the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), which are working intensively to increase security, manage the situation and intervene to normalize this road segment.

Also, the presence of State Police services has been increased on all axes of the district, with the aim of preventing road accidents and providing assistance to road users, if necessary.

The Prefect of Gjirokastra District appeals to avoid movement on this road axis, to exercise increased caution when driving and to strictly respect road traffic rules.
