It lasted only 30 minutes/ The meeting of the Presidency of the Socialist Party

The Socialist Party held a meeting of its Presidency this morning. The meeting lasted only 30 minutes, and Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present. According to reports, the focus of the meeting was setting the date for the Socialist Party Assembly.

This meeting comes after the "storm" of changes in the government, where there were appointments and dismissals in several ministries. A day earlier, Rama also met with President Bajram Begaj where he presented proposals for new changes in the government cabinet.

On February 26, during the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Rama made several changes to the government. The Prime Minister changed half of his cabinet, as CNA had warned on February 14 through several articles. 

Changes: 

- Belinda Balluku was removed from office and replaced by Enea Karakaçi, who took the position of Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

- Albana Koçiu replaced Belinda Balluku in the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

- Besfort Lamallari was appointed Minister of Interior, replacing Albana Koçiu.

- Toni Gogu took the position of Minister of Justice, replacing Besfort Lamallari.

- Ferit Hoxha was appointed Foreign Minister, while Elisa Spiropali left office.

- Ermal Nufi took office as Minister of Defense, replacing Pirro Vengu.

- Eriona Ismaili was appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations, replacing Toni Gogu. /CNA
