Albania's chargé d'affaires in the state of Qatar, Ermal Kaleci, today outlined the situation created following the unrest of recent days from attacks in the Middle East.

In a television appearance, Kaleci stated that there are 200 Albanians in Qatar, who, according to information received from communications with them, are all healthy and well.  

According to Kalec, the situation in Qatar today has been calmer, as citizens are asked to remain calm and implement the protocol set by the authorities.

"Today was a quieter day. Today we were in a meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister's press spokesman, and constantly with the Qatari authorities, and we instruct our citizens to remain calm and implement the protocols that the Qatari authorities have given us. But once again, Albanian citizens should implement the protocols and if they have no work, stay in their homes because the danger has not yet passed. In September, we opened the new headquarters of the Albanian embassy in Qatar and invited all Albanians there and created a database. We have identified 200 Albanians, with phone numbers and where they work. No Albanian citizen has been injured. They are all healthy and well," said Kaleci. /CNA
