City Museum

Through continuous enrichment, primarily through citizen donations, this institution has been able to create museum collections. The Museum of the City of Ferizaj includes different sectors, including Archaeology, Ethnology and History.

Also, the museum houses exhibits from various archaeological sites, such as the Neolithic settlement of Varoshi, where traces of various fragments of Neolithic pottery were discovered mainly during agricultural works. This archaeological material, for the most part mobile, provides important evidence of a typical open Neolithic settlement belonging to both the cultures of Star?eva and Vin?a.

In 2010, an Anthropomorphic Figure dating back to the 6th millennium BC was discovered in this locality. This figure represents the Neolithic era and stands as one of the oldest exhibits discovered to date in the Ferizaj region.

The museum was founded on June 2, 2011 and is located in the premises of the Cultural Center, with a wide space that can accommodate up to 1000 exhibits from different fields. As an institution, the Museum serves as a promoter and presenter of the cultural heritage of Ferizaj and which preserves the values. Pika I i Ushtrisë Çlirimtare të Kosovës (UÇK) gjendet në hyrje të fshatit Jezerc, përgjatë rrugës kryesore. Ai qëndron afër lokacionit të njohur të "Bashkimi i dy lumenjve”. Kjo pikë kontrolli shërbeu si vija kryesore e frontit gjatë konfliktit intensiv që u shpalos midis viteve 1998 dhe 1999, duke qëndruar e pathyer ndaj të gjitha përpjekjeve të forcave serbe.

Sot, ky vend i rëndësishëm historik, Pika I, zë një vend të veçantë në Parkun Memorial të UÇK-së në Jezerc. Përfshirja e saj në park synon të nderojë dhe lartësojë luftën heroike të UÇK-së në Zonën Operative të Nerodimes. Si pjesë integrale e historisë së Kosovës, parku shërben si dëshmi e guximit dhe sakrificës së treguar në ato kohë të trazuara, duke na kujtuar shpirtin e paepur që mbizotëronte.

Point I of UÇK

Point I of the “Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës” (UÇK) is located at the entrance to the village of Jezerc, along the main road. It stands near the well-known location of the "Confluence of the Two Rivers". This checkpoint served as the main front line during the intense conflict that unfolded between 1998 and 1999, standing unbroken against all efforts by Serbian forces.

Today, this important historical site, Point I, occupies a special place in the UÇK Memorial Park in Jezerc. Its inclusion in the park aims to honor and exalt the heroic struggle of the UÇK in the Operative Zone of Nerodime. As an integral part of Kosovo's history, the park serves as a testament to the courage and sacrifice shown in those troubled times, reminding us of the indomitable spirit that prevailed.

Pika VI e Ushtrisë Çlirimtare të Kosovës (UÇK) mban një pozitë të rëndësishme ndër lokacionet kryesore të luftës së UÇK-së në Zonën Operative të Neredimit. Aktualisht, kjo pikë i shërben qëllimit fisnik për të përkujtuar luftën e guximshme të UÇK-së, duke e forcuar statusin e saj si pjesë thelbësore e trashëgimisë sonë historike. Në vazhdimësi vizitohet nga vizitorë të ndryshëm me origjinë nga rajone të ndryshme të Kosovës dhe më gjerë. Për më tepër, kjo pikë është pjesë përbërëse e Parkut Memorial të UÇK-së në Jezerc.

Pika VI qëndron si një dëshmi e shpirtit dhe sakrificës të ekspozuar gjatë atyre kohërave sfiduese. Shërben si një kujtim prekës i individëve të guximshëm që luftuan për liri dhe drejtësi. Me rëndësinë e saj historike dhe rrjedhën e vazhdueshme të vizitorëve, Pika VI qëndron si simbol i kujtimit dhe nderimit për trashëgiminë e UÇK-së brenda dhe më gjerë.
