9 vacationers from Kosovo are poisoned in Shengjin, suspected by a chemical substance

9 people from Kosovo, who were resting in a hotel in Shengjin, were poisoned by a chemical material, writes the media of Kosovo.

The mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, told RTK that it is thought that the poisoning came from a disinfection with a chemical material, which influenced them to seek medical help.

Ndreu clarified that the poisoning did not occur from food or drinking water. He announced that there are 9 people who have been sent to the Lezha hospital and are in good health. 

"It takes at least two weeks to confirm the traces in the blood to determine the microorganisms", emphasized Ndreu.

Further, he added that the food standards that Lezha has are not found in any other country in the region.
