Faces cut off with Vlorë police leaders/ "React immediately to crime,

Interior Minister Taulant Balla held a meeting with the Police structures in Vlora where he was quite firm with his instructions.

He requested that the police react immediately to any type of denunciation that comes from citizens or criminal events.

Balla was blunt, saying that the deaf ear and the blind eye, the complicit silence towards the powerful of the neighborhood and the non-reaction of the law enforcement forces to the citizens' denunciations, are the alignment of the police against the citizens, against the state.

"Citizens are not only the reason why the State Police exists, they are also our irreplaceable partners in protecting the country and every individual, from any type of illegality, from organized crime to ordinary crime and to crime against public and private property. The deaf ear and the blind eye, the complicit silence towards the powerful of the neighborhood and the non-reaction of the law enforcement forces to the citizens' denunciations, are the police's alignment against them, against the state. That's why I want an immediate response from you", said Balla./ CNA
