With a letter in front, Meta opposes the bills voted in the marathon session

The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, appeared in a press conference to oppose the draft laws voted in the marathon parliament session which lasted until the early hours of this morning, that of students and the legalization of cannabis.

In a previous letter, Meta stated that the law on medical cannabis will harm the future of the country and that this law has also failed in other countries.

"It is very clear, all international reports encouraged our country to grow cannabis. International reports show that the weak rule of law and high corruption are the two main drivers of cannabis cultivation in Albania. Rama kept the promise he made to drug addicts to keep the regime alive," said Meta.

He also opposed the approval of the draft law for students, whose diplomas will be held hostage for 5 years, since according to the decision taken by the government, they must first contribute to Albania./ CNA
