Assets worth 2.5 million euros are seized from the brothers in Fier

The Fier Prosecutor's Office has seized 37 assets worth 2.5 million euros belonging to the brothers JH and GH involved in the criminal activity of narcotics.

It is learned that businesses, apartments, land and bank accounts owned by two brothers have been seized.

The property investigations for this property proceeding continue.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction has registered property proceedings no. 2, of 2023, which is related to assets in direct and indirect possession of JH and GH citizens, which are suspected to be derived from the criminal activity of narcotics trafficking abroad. This property proceeding was registered according to law 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and attack of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", amended, based on the reference materials sent by the Fier Local Police Directorate and the verification/investigative actions carried out by the judicial police section of the Fier Prosecutor's Office. The two brothers are under investigation for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", Article 283/ai of the Criminal Code.

From the numerous and complex property verification/investigative actions carried out, the exchange of information with law enforcement bodies, the performance of accounting expertise, as well as the analysis and cross-checking of administered data, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier has requested The court ordered the seizure of immovable and movable assets, bank accounts, monetary sums and assets of commercial companies, etc., worth over 2.5 million Euros, suspected of deriving from the criminal activity of the citizens of JH and GH, as follows:

1. Property of the "service unit" type, with an area of ??375.4 m², located in the "Bishanak" neighborhood, Rr. "Skënderbeu" Fier;
2. Property of the "basement garage" type with an area of ??198.5m2 in the "Bishanak" neighborhood, Rr. "Skënderbeu" Fier;
3. Property of the "garage basement" type with an area of ??113m2 in the "Bishanak" neighborhood, Rr. "Skënderbeu" Fier;
4. Commercial unit "Store" with an area of ??1200 m2, on the main interurban road "Fier-Lushnje";
5. "Attic" type property, with a total area of ??399.6 m², in the "Bishanak" neighborhood, Rr. "Skënderbeu", Fier;

30. 6 (six) bank accounts and monetary amounts in these accounts, in total 97,150 (ninety-seven thousand one hundred and fifty thousand) Euros and 1,575,142 (one million five hundred and seventy-five thousand one hundred and forty-two) Lek, on behalf of citizens AH, GH, JH, BH and the subject "EF" sh.pk, near two second level banks in Albania.

The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier has accepted the request of the Prosecution and subsequently the judicial police officers of the services of the Local Police Directorate of Fier and the Prosecution Section, as well as the Agency for the Administration of Seized Assets, have been charged with the execution of the court decision. ./ C NA
