Rally for former KLA leaders/ "All Albanians today in Pristina",

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, is in Pristina where he will participate in the rally that will be held at 2:00 PM at "Skënderbeu" Square in Pristina.

In a video posted on social media, Balla appeared with Hashim Thaçi's son, Endrit Thaçi, and singer Ylli Limani. They called for participation in the protest in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army with the slogan "Justice, not politics."

"All Albanians in the diaspora, here in Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Cham, today we are all in Pristina," Balla says in the video.

The march is expected to start at "Skënderbeu" Square shortly and is organized by the "Freedom has a Name" platform, which has described the activity as a testament to civic unity in defense of justice and dignity.

The protest has received nationwide support and for this purpose, public transportation in the capital of Kosovo is free during the day today, in support of the march.

Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, former parliamentarians Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and former MP Rexhep Selimi are accused by the Hague Prosecutor's Office of war crimes and crimes against humanity, to which all four have pleaded not guilty. /CNA
