A 4-lane underpass is designed to eliminate Tirana's traffic in the city center.

This project was presented a few days ago by the "We win together" coalition candidate for the capital, Belind Kelliçi, but was opposed by the majority.

Since his idea has created a debate, CNA has opened a survey, asking citizens if they consider the underpass in "Skënderbej" square to be feasible.

For this you can express your opinion by choosing one of the following options: Yes; No; Maybe; I do not know.

The underground tunnel for cars aims to enable unhindered movement under "Skënderbej" square, directly connecting "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard with the Museum area, i.e. in the direction of the Train Station area.

The tunnel is expected to have 2 lanes on the way out and 2 on the way back that will connect "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard with "Zogu i Parë" boulevard.

According to the project, it will be 200 meters long and aims to relieve about 60% of the traffic in this area./ CNA.al
