The Special Court has announced the verdict for Bledar Lilo and Artur Balla, the bodyguard and brother-in-law of Rezart Taçi.

Artur Balla was sentenced to 11 years in prison, while Bledar Lilo was sentenced to 10 years. The two convicts benefit from the shortened trial.

They are accused of money laundering in connection with 18.4 million euros that were to be laundered in Albania.

In the same decision, SPAK's request for the confiscation of 18.3 million euros, the amount seized during the investigation, which was suspected to be laundered, was accepted./CNA.al
