Situation in the country's courts/ Zhulali: Insecurity has reached a

The Head of the Foreign Policy Department at the Democratic Party, Ilda Zhulali, commented today regarding the security situation in the country's courts.

Invited to 'Syri Tv', Zhulali said that uncertainty in justice institutions has reached a breaking point.

Zhulali added that one solution is to increase the number of police forces in court buildings.

"I invite all citizens to read the minister's statement...to read it knowing one fact, that out of the 5 appeal courts that the Republic of Albania has had, today there is only one. So, it is about providing judges in only one building. There is only one in the entire republic and it is located in Tirana. There is no large police force that is required here in every corner of Albania.

The number of judges has gone from 74, there are 24 judges. Now think about it, these judges have to cope with an influx of cases, because the number of cases in the court has increased. This means that citizens are denied the right of citizens to have access, to then go to quality. To then think about how many files a judge has to go through to take the case again from the beginning. Here it is like 'you're going to eat popcorn'.

"In every case, you have the life of at least one family in your hands, and because the devaluation of life has begun here in such a way, that's why such events happen, the uncertainty here has reached its peak. This country has gone to hell and every day there is a murder that is being warned," Zhulali said. /CNA
