SPAK, in cooperation with the State Police, has conducted an operation that targeted a criminal group involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.

Authorities have issued dozens of security measures, some of which have been implemented.

Security measures have been imposed on several citizens, including businessman Artur Shehu.

The latter has been declared wanted and the measure against him has not been executed as he is abroad.

Artur Shehu is the businessman who, according to reports and his statements, owns most of the land in Zvërnec, where the construction of a resort is planned.

In an appearance on the Opinion show, Shehu stated that he was an old landowner.

"I am an old owner. I am one of the owners. It belongs to the whole family. I have 252-253 hectares with a certificate of ownership. The other hectares belong to the family of Eqerem Bey of Vlora.

"I will come and explain everything to you. The property is indisputably the Shehu's. It is a very old property," said Shehu.

The businessman was also under investigation by SPAK and in his reaction to this fact, Shehu stated: "SPAK has its job to verify. I have nothing to do with SPAK," he said./ CNA
