Trump: Attacks on Iran canceled, approvals in principle of plan with Tehran

US President Donald Trump announced today that he was canceling the attacks on Iran, which he had announced hours earlier.

"Since discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have reached the highest level of Iranian leadership and have been approved, as President of the United States of America, I have called off the planned strikes and bombings on Iran tonight," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He added that the discussions and final points have been approved, both in principle and in every detail, by all parties involved.

"The discussions and final points have been agreed upon, both in general terms and in detail, by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The naval blockade will remain in full force until this Agreement is finalized, the time and place of the signing will be announced shortly," Trump explained./CNA
