Vučić considers resigning from office and running for prime minister

Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? said he was considering resigning from office within the next few months and running for prime minister.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Belgrade, Vu?i? said he could leave the presidency within three or four months, or perhaps earlier, and promised that any decision would be announced in advance.

"I plan to resign from the presidency, maybe within three or four months, or it could be earlier. I will inform you, don't worry. It will not be a surprise to anyone," Vu?i? said.

Vucic said he had started collecting his books from the presidential office and added that he planned to donate 1,200 books that were given to him during his time in office, according to local media.
