"Naval blockade remains in effect"/ Trump cancels bombing of Iran

US President Donald Trump has made a post on Truth Social saying that he has canceled planned attacks and bombings on Iran for tonight.

In the post, Trump says that the naval blockade will remain in place and in full effect until the deal with Iran is finalized.

The details of which, Trump said, he would announce soon.

Trump's post

Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and have been approved, I, as President of the United States of America, have canceled the planned strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. The discussions and final points have been approved, both in concept and in great detail, by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized — The time and place of signing will be announced shortly.
