Execution of Judge Astrit Kalaja/ Tomorrow, state ceremony at the Palace of

Tributes for Judge Astrit Kalaja, who was murdered yesterday in the courtroom at the Court of Appeal in Tirana, will take place today in the following time slots: 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00.

The family is said to have requested that the ceremony be private, with visits being welcome.

The tributes will take place in Tirana.

Tomorrow, October 8, a state ceremony will be held at the Palace of Congresses from 09:00-11:00.

Tomorrow, tributes will be held in the city of Shkodra from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM in Shkodra.

"Astrit Kalaja Age 60 years old,

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judge Mr. Astrit KALAJA.

Visitation is expected at the "Alba 2000" funeral home, Rruga e Durrës, former Yugoslav Embassy, ??Tirana, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00.

 

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 9:00-11:00, tributes will be held in honor of the deceased at the Palace of Congresses, Tirana.

 

Visits in the city of Shkodra are expected at the "Bushati" funeral home, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
