Murder of Judge/Former MP: Serious incident fueled by Prime Minister's

Former Democratic Party MP, Asllan Dogjani, commented today on the situation in the country following yesterday's murder of judge Astrit Kalaja inside the courtroom.

In a television appearance, Dogjani accused the incident of being fueled by recent statements made by Prime Minister Edi Rama towards several judges.

Dogjani added that the incident is related to a conflict that has been going on for years between 30 families,

"It is about a conflict between 30 families, who entered that palace with an agreement with the state. The one who claims to be the owner, dares and enters the hall with a gun and kills the judge. The judge is the state. This session was not about the foundation, but about a procedural issue. He did not make a decision in the good sense of the word to go unprompted by the statements made by the prime minister. When the prime minister of the country speaks, he says; a decision of that judge or this one here, is not fair. When the prime minister dares, what do you expect from that Shkambi, or another Shkambi," said Dogjani./CNA
