The Special Court has postponed the hearing for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, accused of corruption in connection with the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.
The session will resume at 15:00. The postponement of the session for the former prime minister came because the lawyers asked for time to familiarize themselves with the documents.
We remind you that this Thursday Berisha has filed in the Special Court the request for the dismissal of judge Irena Gjoka from the case for the former "Partizani" complex.
GJKKO informed the media that this request will be examined by judge Flora Hajredinaj.
The security measures "compulsion to appear" and "prohibition of exiting the country" have been imposed on former Prime Minister Berisha for the charge of "passive corruption".
SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.
On the land of the former complex "Partizani", Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.pk, has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./ CNA
