Violation of equality in the tender/ The decision of the GjKKO is executed for

The former head of Finance of the prison of Greater Kosovo, in Lushnja, was detained this Thursday by the police.

Mariglen Myftari, 33 years old, a resident of Lushnja, was sentenced to two years in prison by the GJKKO for the criminal offenses "Violation of the equality of participation in public tenders or auctions" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions", as a member of commission for the development of a tender with the object of transport in this IEPP, has carried out unilateral actions violating the equality of the participants in this tender.

About 2 weeks ago, the Police arrested the former director of IEVP Kosovo, sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison, for the same criminal activity to the detriment of the participants in this tender.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana, for further action./ CNA
