Analyst Neritan Sejamini, commenting on the report of journalist Giorgio Mottola, broadcast on the Italian state channel RAI3, raises the concern that Albanians who have been convicted by the Italian authorities are transferred to Albania to be released.

In the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, he emphasized that this is done according to the agreement to release Italian prisons, but these convicts come to Albania to be released after one or two years, even though they may have been sentenced to 30 years in prison .

"The problem of Albanians convicted in Italy who are released to free the Italian prisons and come here to get out of prison after one or two years. This is a case that needs to be investigated. If this is true this is dangerous. That here you have murderers who become businessmen, even though they have been sentenced to 20-30 years there. If there are criminals who commit crimes and murders abroad, if they come to Albania they are like that again. This issue is addressed in the Italian documentary. It is known how many convicts have come from Britain or Italy to serve their sentences in Albania, and Albania has an obligation to enforce these sentences. There is also the matter of the attempt to bribe a general of the Guardia di Finanza. The Italian journalist serves the interest of Italy, where there is a clash between the left and the right over the Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants. The left disagrees with this. The Italian opposition has a principled position," said Sejamini. /CNA
