The court hearing against Ilir Meta is being held today at the GJKKO. Lawyer Kujtim Cakrani has harshly attacked the jury, making serious historical comparisons.
During the hearing, Cakrani stated that the court and the judges reviewing the case are no different from the most repressive figures of the communist past.
"This court and these judges are a little better than Koçi Xoxe. They are no different from Koçi Xoxe," the lawyer declared.
He continued the criticism, adding that the process, according to him, is not being conducted in accordance with the principles of justice and warned of further reactions after the end of the session, saying: "See you after the session."
