Rama inspects "Lungomare 4" in Vlora / New solution sought for parking

Prime Minister Edi Rama has conducted inspections in Vlora regarding the "Lungomare 4" project, focusing particularly on the issue of parking lots and the need for their new organization in the area.

During the visit, Rama stated that the development of the promenade will bring significant improvement to the city, but emphasized that a broader solution for parking is required.

According to him, a new and more efficient system for managing parking spaces needs to be identified.

"This Lungomare project will help a lot, however, we need to identify other parking spaces, we need to do something completely new for parking," Rama said.

He also visited the parking lot near the University of Vlora, which is expected to offer around 250 parking spaces.

This parking lot is expected to open within the next few days, while procedures are being finalized for another parking lot in the Lungomare area.

The "Lungomare 4" project is part of the investments to improve public spaces in Vlora, with the aim of increasing accessibility, safety and tourist attractiveness.
