Thousands of Orthodox believers gathered at the “Resurrection of Christ” Cathedral in Korça to celebrate Easter, one of the most important days of the religious calendar. The city, known for its deep spiritual traditions, was transformed into a center of unity and prayer. The Holy Mass was led by the Metropolitan of Korça, His Eminence Anastasios, who at midnight proclaimed the “Resurrection of Christ”. Under the sound of bells and the light of candles, the believers conveyed the message of hope: “Christ is risen, truly risen”.

The square in front of the Cathedral and the city's pedestrian zone were filled with citizens and visitors from all over the country and the diaspora, who participated in this special ceremony, receiving the Easter light as a symbol of faith, peace, and prosperity for their families.

"To the Albanians and especially to the people of Korça, happy Easter! Peace, harmony and as many blessings as possible in their families. I live in Tirana, but I am from Korça and I came for Easter. Like every year, the atmosphere is a miracle in itself, because this holiday brings peace to all people. Tomorrow we will definitely celebrate with the family."
