Orthodox Easter Mass/ CNA broadcasts live celebrations in Tirana and

Orthodox believers will celebrate Easter tomorrow. Tonight, CNA will broadcast live the traditional midnight mass at the “Resurrection of Christ” Cathedral in the capital, where hundreds of believers will participate to follow the religious ritual. In Tirana, the mass will be led by His Beatitude Joan, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania.

Also, at CNA you will follow the service of the “Resurrection of Christ” held at the “Resurrection of Christ” Cathedral in Korça, one of the main cities of the southeast and all of Albania, which holds special celebrations on this significant day for all Orthodox believers. In Korça, the mass will be led by the Metropolitan of Korça, His Grace Anastasios.

This mass is the culmination of the entire Holy Week and is experienced with great devotion by Orthodox believers. Orthodox Easter celebrations will take place not only in Tirana and Korça, but also in Berat, Elbasan and throughout the country.

Thousands of Orthodox believers in Tirana participated yesterday afternoon in the epitaph unveiling ceremony.
