The Mufti of Korça, Ledian Cikalleshi, has conveyed a message of congratulations on the occasion of Easter to the Orthodox believers of the city and beyond, emphasizing the importance of harmony and religious coexistence.

In his message, he emphasized that religious communities in Albania share some common figures and values.

The message focused on peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among religious communities in the country.

"We have just congratulated the Holy Metropolis of Korça, the Orthodox believers of the Korça area and not only, on their Easter holiday. There are some elements that are in the Islamic religion, we have in common the figure of Mary or Maryam as we say in the Islamic religion of Isa or Jesus Christ whom we consider prophets of God, his messengers. We consider the Gospel as a book sent down by God but on other theological issues we normally have our differences but this does not prevent us from coming to congratulate, to be in joy with each other. On this occasion, I want to wish all the Orthodox believers of the Korça area and not only, a happy Easter for many years", congratulated the Mufti of Korça./ CNA
