After the Orthodox Easter mass, the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, His Beatitude Joan, welcomed the faithful at the "Resurrection of Christ" Cathedral, where greetings were exchanged on the occasion of the Easter holiday.

The traditional reception was attended by representatives of politics, media, art and culture, as well as representatives of religious communities, who conveyed their Easter greetings to the Archbishop.

In his speech, His Beatitude Joan conveyed messages of peace, love, and hope, focusing on the spiritual meaning of Christ's Resurrection.

He emphasized that the peace of Christ is the presence of God and that the Resurrection proves that love is stronger than death.

The Archbishop also focused on the challenges of modern society, saying that man today, despite pursuing material goods and success, often feels lonely. The Archbishop emphasized that only faith and the presence of Christ in the heart give man true peace.
