The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, spoke at the protest held in support of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Kelliçi said that this is not a genuine protest but solidarity for the leader of the opposition who is a political prisoner today.
"These are not genuine protests, but gatherings as a sign of solidarity for the leader of the opposition, who is a political prisoner today. Today, the head of the Albanian opposition is under house arrest without evidence and without being questioned once. There are citizens who came from outside Tirana, one lady came from outside Albania. They have come all by themselves in support of this cause. We are the only NATO member country that has the leader of the opposition under arrest today", Kelliçi said./ CNA
