Draft law on surrogacy / Protest in Tirana, petition is signed

In "Skënderbej" square, in Tirana, a protest against the draft law on surrogacy takes place.

Citizens say that they came out to protest in defense of the Albanian family, as they claim that the draft law destroys the foundations of the family.

The protesters also signed a petition with 10 demands addressed to the Assembly, the President, the Prime Minister, all political parties and ambassadors.

According to them, the bill is clientelistic and only its drafters benefit from it. The citizens warned that if their demands are not taken into account, all drafters of the draft law will be prosecuted.

The protest was organized by the Albanian Coalition for Family and Life.
