Attacks on journalists / Zhupa requests a motion with a debate in the Assembly

Deputy Ina Zhupa has requested a motion with a debate in the Assembly on the attacks on journalists.

In a statement to the media, Zhupa stated that a resolution should be drawn up to show solidarity and protect journalists, who have been attacked and blackmailed by politicians.

"We asked for a motion with debate and the drafting of a resolution to stand in solidarity with women journalists.

Gender-based violence has reached alarming proportions and institutions protect the perpetrators. Recently, there have been blackmails and even physical attacks against women journalists.

Rama has become an inspiration for blackmail. We have dropped 3 places in the index of media freedom and this is an obstacle for EU integration.
