The reaction of lawyer Saimir Vishaj

Through e-mail, I was notified today about the exclusion from the race for my candidacy for member of KLP and KLJ. I feel very sorry for this exclusion without any reason, as I had previously passed all the filters set by the institution of the People's Advocate.

I have 34 years in employment, 3 of which as a Judicial Police Officer and the rest of my life as a lawyer, with over 25 years as a lawyer, regular taxpayer. I have been certified twice with a security certificate, in 2003 as an expert in the Security Commission, and for 3 years as a monitor of the Reform in Justice elected by the Parliament of Albania.

My figure as a lawyer is very clean, where I have given my contribution from 2016 onwards for the Reform in Justice in all the round tables from all the links of the system, such as from the Parliament of Albania, the Ministry of Justice and civil society . In 2021, I won from the ranks of pedagogy to compete as a member of the KLP, but in the Law Commission I received 2 votes from the opposition, while 3 votes were against from the SP deputies.

As a monitor for the Parliament of Albania, I received 73 positive and negative votes by submitting my findings to the Law Commission in the framework of the construction of new justice institutions. Under these conditions, based on my professional experience and integrity in the field of advocacy, only a subjective opinion or decision excludes me from the race for a member of the KLP. I think the reason is that I am not a member of any political force bringing us party soldiers for these bodies such as KLP and KLJ. I cannot become a member by compulsion, even though my presence in these bodies would benefit the functioning of these institutions.

As for DSIK and SHIK, who hardly want to make me an operative, they cannot take away my page and my professionalism. I have become a grandfather and the only thing I regret is what I will tell my grandson, what I have done, why I was not accepted, while my exclusion is subjective, you don't love us, never love us. You want incompetence, choose it, you want honesty and professionalism, don't choose it. Thank you for your consideration in adding to the ranks of the disaffected against the Justice Reform.
