Anti-SPAK/ Dumani Commission: Protect institutional independence, respect powers

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said in the Laws Commission that he is familiar with the draft resolution against corruption, initiated by the government. 

He said that the protection of institutional independence and legal certainty must be respected.

Dumani underlined that the constitutional spirit should be respected and the powers should be respected. 

"Regarding a Special Commission, a resolution has been reached. I don't know what stage the Assembly is at, but I am familiar with the draft resolution. The protection of institutional independence and legal certainty should be principles that should guide any reform. It should the constitutional spirit should be respected, the powers should be respected. I think that the legal package will reflect positively on the Law Reform", said Dumani. /CNA
