Dumani: There is money laundering in the field of construction

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, reported to the Law Commission on the work of the Special Structure during 2023. 

According to Duman, what is noticeable is the form that organized crime is using to launder money.

According to him, there is an increase in the use of commercial companies, as well as investment in real estate and deposits in various bank accounts.

He emphasized that there is also money laundering in the field of construction. 

"There is the presence of money laundering, which is also done with construction. Terrorism is also among the rarest criminal activities. As for corruption, procedures are used that benefit from public funds, which use offshore accounts. Even some banks are involved in the scheme of money laundering", said Dumani./ CNA
