While reporting to the Laws Commission, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said that during 2023, 41 million euros of assets were seized. 

According to him, there were 237 detainees from SPAK, less than 9% of the total number of persons in custody.

Dumani, in his speech, also raised the concern of the "fate" of SPAK prosecutors, after the end of the mandate. He made a call to the Assembly for a clear legal definition. 

"We have achieved credibility with partner countries. Representatives of DEA and FBI abroad attached to SPAK. We have established direct contacts with Latin American countries to fight organized crime. In total we have built 32 joint teams investigation. There is an increase in the number of subjects that have been declared international. We have presented some concerns in the report, and we hope that the Parliament will provide a solution, such as the lack of a clear legal definition of SPAK prosecutors, the lack of legal advisers", said Dumani./ CNA
