What will be the payment for the chairman and members of the Gambling Licensing

At today's meeting of the Council of Ministers, the payment of the members of the Licensing Commission in the Gambling Supervision Authority was approved.

The Council of Ministers decided that the chairman of the commission should be paid 35,000 lek per meeting. On the other hand, the members of the commission will receive 30,000 ALL per meeting.

According to the decision, every payment of the members of the commission will be made on the basis of the document of the attendance list or the minutes, which proves the participation in the meetings of the commission.

"DECISION ON DETERMINING THE MEASURE OF THE REWARD OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE LICENSE COMMISSION IN THE GAMING SUPERVISION AUTHORITY

In support of article 100 of the Constitution, point 8, article 17/1, of law no. 155/2015, "On gambling in the Republic of Albania", as amended, and letter "a", point 5 , of article 8, of law no. 35/2023, "On the powers to set salaries, other financial treatments and benefits of employees in public administration institutions, as well as the minimum basic salary at the national level", with the proposal of Minister of Finance, Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

1. The chairman and members of the License Commission for the examination and evaluation of applications submitted in relation to the gambling activity, at the Gambling Supervision Authority, are rewarded as follows:

a) Chairman of the commission, in the amount of 35,000 (thirty-five thousand) ALL per meeting;

b) Members of the commission, in the amount of 30,000 (thirty thousand) ALL per meeting.

2. Every payment of the committee members is made on the basis of the document (attendance list or minutes), which certifies the participation in the committee meetings.

3. The financial effects for the remuneration of the members of the Licensing Commission, according to point 1, of this decision, are borne by the budget of the Gambling Supervision Authority.

4. The Gambling Supervision Authority is charged with the implementation of this decision.
