Andy Braçaj was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison for drug trafficking by the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

Meanwhile, he was found not guilty of committing the criminal offense "Structured Criminal Group"

"At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of judges Paulin Çera, Marçela Shehu, Gentian Marku, with decision No. 34, dated 22.05.2024 decided: The guilty declaration of the defendant Andi Braçaj for committing the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", provided for by article 283/1 of the Criminal Code and based on this provision his sentence of 7 (seven) years and 6 (six) months of imprisonment" , the court announces.

From the application of the summary trial, he is reduced by 1/3 of the sentence, being finally sentenced to 5 (five) years of imprisonment. /CNA
