The police have taken measures for the smooth running of the election process, in the Municipality of Himara, which will be held tomorrow.

The police officers were assigned the duties of guarding the voting centers and materials this Saturday by their leaders.

In this election process, 52 police officers are engaged who will provide the election materials in the 36 voting centers.

The Blues call on citizens and political parties to fully respect all legal obligations.

Himarë/Police measures for the smooth running of the election process on August 4, 2024, in Himarë municipality.

In the Himarë Police Station, the Director for Public Order and Security and the Head of the Public Security Department in the General Directorate of the State Police, together with the Deputy Director for Public Order and Security in the Vlorë DVP and the Head of the Police Station Himarë, conducted the briefing with the Police officers engaged in tasks in the election process.

Police employees were informed of the tasks that each of them has for the preservation of voting centers and materials, as well as the measures taken in order to guarantee public order and safety and the smooth running of the process during the election process on August 04, 2024.

All police personnel engaged in tasks during the election process are trained for the tasks that the State Police has and performs during the election process.

The list of police officers who will be engaged in the election process has been approved by the CEC.

In this election process, 52 police officers are engaged who will provide the election materials in the 36 voting centers.
