The well-known actor Mehdi Malkaj was admitted to the cardiology intensive care unit at QSUT, after he developed heart health problems. 

He was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon and his condition appears stable. He is expected to undergo further medical examinations today. 

The actor was in the trauma hospital visiting a relative of his and suddenly felt discomfort, pain in his left arm.

Who is Mehdi Malkaj?

Mehdi Malkaj was born on March 20, 1952 in the city of Memaliaj. He graduated from the High Institute of Artevena in 1983.

He started working at the Soldier's Theater and then at the Tirana Variety Theater.
