Today, the head of the SPAK, Altin Dumani, reported to the Assembly about the work of the Prosecutor's Office that he leads throughout 2023.

MP Flamur Noka asked Duman if his report was registered regarding the land benefited by Carlo Bollino on which "Report TV" was built.

Next, Noka asks Duman if they have started investigations in this regard and at what stage they are.

Noka also asked the prosecutor about the second lawsuit against Carlo Bollino for a corrupt scheme that brings financial benefits, since according to the report, millions of euros of public money of Albanian taxpayers were benefited and this money illegally influenced and served to finance the construction of the building of a private television such as "Report TV".

"Mr. Dumani, you reported today on the investigations followed by SPAK in 2023. SPAK, as you know, was created to investigate high levels of crime and corruption, but every Albanian knows that the high levels are Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj. I am asking you some questions, which are of great interest to the public regarding some criminal charges that the DP has referred to the institution that you have been leading for several months.

I filed criminal charges against Edi Rama, Anila Denaj and the famous Carlo Bollino for taking advantage of the land and building for the construction of 'Report TV', the land that the Begeja family donated to build a school for the citizens of Tirana and not to build Carlo .

My question is: Is this report registered and what is the offense in which it is registered? Are investigations being carried out or not and at what stage are they?

The next question. Some DP deputies have reported in a second lawsuit, the citizen Carlo Bollino, for a corrupt scheme that brings financial benefits, since according to the report, millions of euros of public money of Albanian taxpayers have been benefited and this money has illegally influenced and served to finance the construction of the building of a private television such as 'Report TV'.

Has a criminal complaint been registered and what is the offense? Are investigations being carried out and at what stage are the investigations? We are looking for information.

In these reports, I am informing you Mr. Prosecutor, we have started a complete analysis of the facts and evidence that show the entire financial scheme. The case of VKM 1 euro is very flagrant, since not only Edi Rama broke the law for his beloved Carlo, but he has strong cooperation with the former Minister of Finance, Anila Denaj. There, a notarial contract was falsified, VKM was falsified, Mr. Prosecutor, head of SPAK. We have sent you all the official documents and I believe that a few days would be enough for verifications and in true justice, they would be brought to justice today, the abusers and the beneficiaries."

Duman replied that in order to be informed about the report made, he can make a request and receive information.

But Duman said both are matters of investigation.

"Mr. Noka, regarding the first question, you said that you are a complainant and like any complainant, he has the right to be informed about the fate of the report made. You are invited to make a request for information and you will receive all the necessary information about the fate of your report. I can't do it here, firstly because we are not allowed to talk about concrete issues and secondly, I am asking for information about the second question...", said Dumani. / CNA
