"High value target"/ Spanish media details of Josif's arrest:

The well-known Spanish media "El Pais" has given new details about Amant Josif, the former adviser of Olta Xhaka and the partner of Olsi Rama. 

The article points out that he was arrested on September 6 by the police in Dubai and is accused of defrauding around 17,000 people in Spain with his network in Europe. 

According to "El Pais", Josif has been described by the authorities as a "high value" target. 

In the article, it is underlined that Xhaçka's former advisor is the owner of several Call-Centers in Albania, from where the police suspect that the victims were called to offer fake investments.

The Spanish court had issued an international arrest warrant for him for crimes of criminal organization and fraud, while he had escaped the international operation carried out in November last year. 

The Spanish media points out that Josifi is a well-known businessman in Albania, with strong political connections.

She adds that his arrest has caused an earthquake in our country, and that Josifi served as an adviser to the Ministry of Defense in the period 2018-2020.
