Fraud, cybercrime and pyramid schemes/ Police give details of the arrest of Xhaçka's former adviser

The police have given details of the arrest of the former councilor of Olta Xhaçka, Amant Josifi. 

Amant Josifi was wanted internationally as part of the international police mega-operation coded "FRIDA-REFOX".

The Court of First Instance of La Seu de Urgell, Spain, with decision no. 2, dated 03.11.2022, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Fraud with aggravating circumstances", "Cybercrime", "Pyramid scheme" and "Criminal organization", provided by the Code Spanish penalty.

Following the investigation, tracking and research work, for the capture of the citizens declared wanted within the joint investigation between the Albanian and Spanish police authorities, he was captured in Dubai, on behalf of the Spanish authorities./ CNA
