From Prespa to the Alps/ AKZM looking for experts for 7 studies in protected

At least seven studies involving species or vegetation in protected areas are expected to be developed further by the National Agency for Protected Areas.

The latter announced that it was looking for experts who would focus on specific aspects of some areas that are important National Parks in the country.

"The National Agency of Protected Areas, through the PONT Grant, is following the agreed operational plan for some of the protected areas, engaging in the monitoring and conservation of indicator species as a key component of the overall management of protected areas together with main habitats. In order to ensure the effectiveness of our efforts in this process, we are looking for experienced experts to conduct studies," says the announcement of AKZM.

But what exactly are the studies that will be carried out by experts on behalf of AKZM.

First the monitoring protocol for the woodpecker in the Prespa National Park. The consultancy is expected to start on July 15 and end on September 5.

Second, the distribution of Rupicapra rupicapra (brown goat) in the National Park of the Alps of Albania.

Thirdly, the Monitoring protocol for Salmo letnica in the Protected Aquatic / Terrestrial Landscape of Lake Pogradec.

Fourth, the Monitoring protocol for Oak and Bush Forests in the Protected Aquatic / Terrestrial Landscape of Lake Pogradec.

Fifth, the Monitoring protocol for Chestnut Forests in the Protected Aquatic/Terrestrial Landscape of Lake Pogradec;

Sixth, "Report on the status of medicinal plants in the National Park of the Alps of Albania and seventh, Creation of the program called "Days of science in the park" for the National Park of the Alps of Albania./Monitor
